Holiday Calendar can´t be select instead of Factory Calendar (that won´t fit interest calculation)

Hi Experts:

As I have underestood you set up the Public Holidays and later assign them to Holiday Calendar. As the Factory Calendar is linked to the Holiday Calendar it enheritate the Public Holidays. If you have a Public Holiday that won´t be a non labory day you can exclude it as a Public Holiday with a Special Rule. With that scheme you can have 2 situations:

Situation 1 - Holiday Calendar will have the same number of Public Holidays as the Factory Calendar if there are no special rules

Situation 2 - Holiday Calendar will have more number of public Holidays as the Factory Calendar if there is at list one special rule.

On the other hand you only have the option to use the Factory Calendar not the Holiday Calendar.

When you are in FSCM/TRM and you change the due date to the next working day you are allowed to select the Calendar, that is, the Factory Calendar not the Holiday Calendar.

Here is the issue: in some countries there are some holidays where the Plant is working and the HR resources are working, etc, etc but the Banks and Public Offices don´t. I.e the 31th of December is not a Public Holiday but the Bank and Public Offices are closed so I need the interest calculation to go further from January the 2nd. (if it is a Saturday or Sunday it will go further)

In this example you have the 2 options described and will be fine for HR, PP, SD MM....

option 1) Add the 31/DEC as a Public Holiday, add it to Holiday Calendar and exclude it with a special rule in the Factory Calendar

option 2) Do not add it as a Public Holiday (thus it won´t be added to the Factory Calendar)

But both options won´t help me with the bank interest calculation in TRM unless I can use the Holiday Calendar instead of the Factory Calendar!!!! (And if I can not be done I really do not know the use of the Holiday Calendar)

Just to ilustrate it better, if I choose the option 1 and if I would be allowed to use the Holiday Calendar, the interest calculation will go to the 2nd of January or further (good for TRM) and for the PP MM SD HR modules the Factory Calendar will fit ok (31th dec excluded with a special rule)

BUT THIS IS NOT AN OPTION as I cannot select the Holiday Calendar instead of the Factory for products related to Banks.

The only option I have is to create another Factory Calendar (a "fake" one to be used as the Bank Calendar) and link it to the Holiday Calendar too. In this case in the "real" Factory Calendar I will exclude the 31thDEC with a special rule and in the fake Factory do not do it. But I will have to do this for ALL THE COUNTRIES where I face this situation.

Any help or better idea?

Thank s in advance
