I need your help.
I have a problem trying to evaluate a loan (product type 550 Interest Rate Instrument). Make amortization step using TPM1. System
gives warning message TPM_TRL240 «No amortization on &; Cannot determine effective interest rate for & Financial Transaction Number
&» and creates no write-up or write-down postings.
All the customizing and business-function activation seem to be realized. I use 2-step PMP:
1) Security valuation (standard Procedure 1010 Mark-to-Market (OCI))
2) Amortization (standard Procedure 3000 SAC Net)
Steps made before:
1) Create ordinary Interest Rate contract, start date of the contract 01.02.2009, end date 01.02.2012 with regular interest payment
flows and nonrecurrent charges flow (assigned Position Change Category 1014 to Charges update type).
2) on 01.02.2009: Create postings of the borrowing and charges flows
3) on 01.02.2009: Input NPV in the table VTVBAR using transaction JBNPV
4) on 01.02.2009: Make valuation using TPM1 to decrease Book Value and Amortized Acquisition Value (Fair Value) by the amount of the Charges.
5) on 31.12.2009: Make deferral expense posting using TPM44
6) on 31.12.2009: Try to make TPM1 and receive above mentioned message.
What can be the reason?
