Amortization for partial term of facility

Hi Folks,

I have few queries about amortization for the facilities. As per scenarios, client need to amortize upfront amount or consulting fee against facilities. Consulting fee will be amortized on yearly basis.

1.  I do maintain values against condition types. Is the amortization procedure works for facilities if I link it to position management procedure? What is transaction need to use to post amortization documents?

2. At present I have not configured amortization procedure and maintained values against condition types on monthly basis. But system is calculating these values over the life of the facility, which is not correct. Can we control the system to calculate only for 1 year or 12 months?
