Limit Management for quantity (and not value)

Hello Experts

I want to do limit management for outstanding quantities (and not the amount) of the out standing positions. I checked lists of "characteristics" while defining the limit type.

There is no such thing available where I can do limit management for the quantities of the out standing positions.

Let me know if any one has come across the situation for limit management for quantities.
