HI Marques,

Bank Communication Management is mainly for integrating to external banks / Merging of payments/ Payment approvals. For transferring of payments from one bank account to another bank account use repetitive code setup.

For more information refer to below link

Hi Taro,

Thanks for clarification. I am able to setup payments on behalf for my client.

Now, we wish to go for collection on behalf of subsidiaries.

We would receive incoming payments from customers of 12 subsidiaries in one account and need to map the same in IHC. can you please guide me how to go about it?

I have few doubts:

1. How SAP would determine subsidiary for which payment has been received? As i think, I feel that we can look for specific text or untimate creditor in CAMT53 file. But How bank would receive this information from customer?

can you please provide me basic knowledge so that i can start of.

Hi Nicolas,

have you considered to use the logical databases of the transaction manager?

E.g. based on FTI_TR_POSITIONS, you can create your own reports for a given key date with the key figures you need.

More info is in the SAP library

Hi Gurus,

Need your helping hand on the below query:

As per the client requirement i have created a new House Bank with an Account ID. They also need to have a Treasury Contract to be created for this bank. For this they want this bank to be setup as a Business partner too for posting the treasury contracts.

Please guide me the following:

1. Where to define the Treasury Contracts for this bank?

2. What settings needs to be done for setting up as a Business Partner, for posting the treasury contracts?

Hi,

>> 1. Where to define the Treasury Contracts for this bank?

You should use trans. code BP to create a Business partner - see a detailed description SAP Library.

>> 2. What settings needs to be done for setting up as a Business Partner, for posting the treasury contracts?

In your situation you need to assign at least 2 roles:

  • a general role '000000 - Business partner'. Here, you store all general information about the relevant Business partner, like name, address, payment information, etc.;
  • a specific role for Treasury 'TR0151 - (Treasury) counterparty'. Here you maintain general and company code relevant data for the specific Business partner.

hope this will help you.

Dear,

I Hope you're well, I have a doubt with repect to process purchases in SAP MM SAP with PSM-BCS. Then my inquiries are:

1. When the goods receipt (MIGO) is made, the financial accounting document establishes two positions:

PostKeyAccount NumberAmountCommitment ItemFund Center
89Stock accounts10011.01.23.11C0912
96EM/RF-10011.01.23.11C0912

Enquiry:

Through the Derivation Strategy the Commitment item is assigned to the stock account, but the system is assigning EM/RF Commitment item same item of the stock account.

It is correct that the Account Number EM/RF have Commitment item the same item of the stock account?.

Thank

Hi,

Repetitive code is used to transfer funds from one bank account to another bank. repetitive transaction between bank accounts will be setup as repetitive codes in that you define house bank and target house bank. when ever you want to transfer funds select the repetitive code enter amount save, it will create payment request and release the payment request.

Through Repetitive code you can perform below functions

1. Bank Account Transfer

2.Business Partner transfer

3.Free format payment

Activate Change Documents in tx TX01 and TX02

Hello Gurus:

I would like to know how to configure transactions TX01 and TX02 in order they generate change documents on creation and modification.

I'm designing a workflow template that is executed at the moment a document is created or modified in TX01 and TX02. It was working fine some days ago (the change document had been created), but now the CD is no more created (maybe due a configuration change).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kumar,

Please see the link and detailed comment i made in the thread

IHC - Incoming Bank Statement

Here you can obtain the details of IHC configuration on the central payment. In my case, it was rather simple, because it was with intercompany sweeping and in the case of MT940, it was subtag 30. 31 in field 86 indicating the counterparty bank account (where the money comes from) to determine the Current account that you would like to post the incoming payment in IHC.

I am not too sure of which nodes in CAMT53 you receive the counter party details. Do you receive such information? Providing that you do receive it and you have the details of customer bank account, you would be able to map the counterparty information against the current account within IHC incoming payment configuration.

To start with, you need to check if CAMT53 for incoming payments from customers do have the counterparty information.

Hope that this helps.

Taro

Hi Anil,

Please find below details on repetitive code.

What is repetitive code:

This includes the sender bank, sender account, recipient bank, recipient account, payment method, and currency. It is used to reduce the administrative work required for frequently recurring payments with the same payment details. The only details that are different for each payment are the amount and the note to payee. In addition, in the USA, a company can agree a repetitive code with its house bank. The bank then only needs the repetitive code, the amount, and (if required) the note to payee in order to process a payment order.

Refere the following link:

Maintain Repetitive Codes - Bank Accounting (FI-BL) - SAP Library

Check the following transaction codes for Set up of Repetitive codes :

FRFT_B - Repetitive Codes: Payment to Banks

FRFT - Rapid Entry with Repetitive Code

There is a transactrion code OT81 for editing repetitive codes.

Business Parnter - in standing instructions for BP at the company code lever you can see the banks in combination with the repetitive codes. (T.code) TBI1 - Payment Details

At the transaction level - while creating or editing also in payments you can see repetitive codes.

Kind Regards

fix and post derived transaction

I have questions regarding "fix and post derived business transaction",  how to differentiate between OTC trans. and Loans, I have a customized product type Z90, product category: 510(fixed term deposit), why it is OTC trans but not loans?

for Z90, I have flow type: Z110(increase), Z111(decrease), Z112(final repay), Z120 (norminal interest)

I go to SPRO, money market node, and I find update type ZMM110+ and Z1MM110- is assigned to flow type Z110 under "money Market" (column cont. type),

but when I run tpm18, only update type ZB0001 is coming out, and account assigned to update type ZB0001 is posted, why it is not update type ZMM110+?

in TPM18, value of 320000 JPY is posted, my local currency is JPY, deal currency is USD. deal value is 3000 USD, how is 320000 is calculated?

EBS - MT940 - Auto Clearing with payment document number

Hi

I am getting the MT940 bank statement with the payment document number alongwith company code and year at line 86.  For example:

900012345678902014?21

9000 - company code

1234567890 - Payment document number

2014 - Year

?21 - Not sure

I created a new search string as below:

( |^)#####################( |$)

At tag, I left only the 10 digits for the document number and removed the other values ie for company code, year etc

Assigned this search string for the bank account with interpretation algorithm 020 (document number search)and target field is Note to payee.

But, the system is not able to clear by looking at the payment document. Instead, it is trying to clear with the amount.

Could you please suggest me on this.

Thanks and Regards

Ashok

Mirror Transaction in Product type

Hi All,

We have been configuring Mirror Transactions for product type 62B.

for transaction 304. (Fix to Fix).

However we get no error message and no mirror deals are created even when the deal is created or settled.

Maintain Relevant Product Types and Transaction Types

100062B3040120/302000

Map Product Types and Transaction Types

200062B304TEST+ Incoming 01 Mirror Image
100062B304TEST- Outgoing01 Mirror Image

Process Incoming Data

200062B3040120/3010000101 Mirror Image

Company codes are correctly mapped to Partners.

Still we do not get the Mirror deal created.

We checked the Class: CL_IM_FTR_TR_MIRROR_DEALS in which FTR_MIR_BAPI_CREATE is used to create deals.

In the class I dont find any condition for product category 620 - SWAP.

Your guidance is appreciated.

Re: condition type and TPM10

Hi Robin,

>> what happened to other condition type? why not appear in FTR_EDIT?

[A.]: the thing is that not necessary all the condition types, defined in Customizing for a Product type, are used in a specific deal. E.g. if you choose a bullet loan structure, in this case you only 2 condition types will be used in the system - Final repayment and Nominal interest. If you use more complex structures, other condition types might be employed, like installments, capitalization, etc. - when relevant.

>> what's the benefit of using condition type 1110 and norminal interest for my deal? in FTR_EDIT, how can I find what's the usage of condition type 1110 and norminal interest?

[A.]:Condition types part of setup and are used for Money market transactions - e.g. for final repayment, installments, various form of interest, interest rate adjustments, etc. - you assign these condition to required transaction types.

>> I have run TPM18, and when I run TPM10, it shows no positions selected, why happen no result? any T-code I can check correctness of TPM18?

[A.]: as you might know, SAP trans. TPM18 is used to fix so called derived flows - these are all kind of realized gains and losses, e.g. FX gain or loss.

SAP trans. TPM10 is used to reverse the whole deal or specific flows - you have to be specific and also take into account if this deal/ flow is available for reversal in accounting.

the last question - what are you criteria to distinguish if the result of TPM18 is correct or not? one thing I could suggest after running this transaction is to make sure you have executed it in Production mode - verify with TPM20 or TPM13.

hope this will help you.

Kind regards,

Renatas

Re: Mirror Transaction in Product type

Hi Subhrajit,

mirror deals functionality is available for the following financial instruments: fixed-term deposit, deposit at notice, cash flow transaction, interest rate instrument, foreign exchange, and foreign exchange swap -> see a Section 'Features' @ Mirror Transactions - Product Types in the Transaction Manager - SAP Library, so I'm afraid 62B is simply is not within the scope of Mirroring functionality.

hope this will help you.

Kind regards,
