Hi Chandra,
As regards IHC internal bank statements, you need not to send FINSTA bank statement to IHC clearing Current accounts but only to Subsidiaries because like banks, the bank statements are medium for the account holder, in which case are the subsidiaries, to update their accounts. I would use a different Product with product definition being configured not to have the bank statement functionality for such clearing Current accounts. The same logic applies for Central incoming payments.
In relation to GL transfer, the system will post 2 documents into FI for each payment item in IHC. In a simplistic scenario for external Payment (GL transaction type 0001),
1st documents
Dr - Clearing actGL in current accounts config
Cr - OffsetAcct in current accounts config
2nd document
Dr - GL account Receivable/payable in Transfer posting Receivable/Payable
Cr - Clearing actGL in current accounts config
The above posting will take place for both payment item into sub's CA and IHC clearing CA and that I would normally configure the same account as Payment request clearinga ccount for IHC clearing CA in such case for GL account Receivable/payable configu.
Also would configure the same values for GL assignment for current accounts and Post Processing.
hope that this helps
Regards
Taro
