While executing an external payment from a subsidiary, and finally posting the payment order in IHC0 the system should generate a payment request for F111 to run and make the payment. This is from IHC to Finance. We need it to create another IDOC from IHC to FI.

Any thoughts...

SAP Loan Management and Transaction Manager link to SAP Funds Management

Hi experts,

My current project activate link to PSM- Funds Management.

SAP Loans Management and Transaction Manager will also be implemented for this project.

PSM-Funds Management requires the following field for complete charge line- Fund, Functional Area, WBS Element, Profit center, and Segment.

In Loans Management and Transaction manager, some of these fields are not available in the account assignment reference configuration.

My question is how do we activate this fields to enable posting to go through?

Do i need to customize some screen or program to activate this field for all posting function in SAP LM and SAP TR?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Breen

Re: Treasury report to show all future flows

this is also a feasible option.

however, as the first step I would verify if you can use some standard report, as this requires almost no or very limited efforts (e.g. just to modify layout) - you can find dozen of the standard ones under under Treasury and Risk Management  -> Transaction Manager ->  Information -> System  Reports.

of course, in case your reporting needs cannot be met by the method mentioned above then you should consider using logical databases of Transaction manager - in your case I would assume FTI_TR_CASH_FLOWS is relevant. In combination with the SAP queries, they are simple and powerful tools for creating reports that particularly meet your specific requirements.

Treasury Status Profile - Activity Block

Hi All,

I have a scenario where a Fixed Deposit Transaction is get created in Front Office and it will be approved by Middle Office and it will get settled in head Office.

We have to implement Treasury Status Profile in such a way that

1. At the time of creation the transaction status will "10" (It will be an initial status)

2. Untill the Middle Office change the status to "20" (i.e Approved) ... the transaction should not allow for settlement in Head Office.

Kindly help me is there any standard "Status Profile is available which i can copy and proceed or how can i make the settings in the status profile to achieve the above requirement.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Reenu,

yes, in your case with the Fixed-Term Deposit it is enough to use a standard Processing category '00002 - With Settlement' for Product category 510 (see IMG -> ... -> TRM -> Money Market -> Transaction Management -> Transaction Types -> Define Transaction Types -> a field 'Processing category') together with 'Automatic posting release' indicator (see the screenshot attached) - in simple language it means that your 'workflow' will be following:

  • step #1 - deal entry - SAP trans. FTR_CREATE - the assigned activity category will be '10 - Contract' - at this stage a deal in saved in the system, however it is not yet possible to carry out further settlement steps for this particular deal, like accounting, etc., as it requires another step in the system - validation, called settlement in SAP terms - this is the next step #2 below;
  • step #2 - validation or settlement in SAP terms - SAP trans. FTR_EDIT -> acitivity 'Settle' - the assigned activity category will be '20 - Contract Settlement' - the purpose of this step is to validate that all the data of the deal captured are correct and it is ready for further processing;
  • step #3 - further processing, including accounting - posting of flows, EoP, etc. - sometimes called settlement - these activities are allowed only the assigned activity of the deal in question is '20 - Contract Settlement', meaning that system-wise this deal is validated and available for further processing.

The PAYRQ tables are not being populated once the payment order has been created. This is a pre-requisite to running F111 for the final external payment. Any ideas on how the PAYRQ tables can be populated ? Standard FM are not doing the trick.

Hi Renatas,

I am aware of the above process which you are talking about it is "Activities - Status" i.e in status tab ....... but  i am requesting help for  "Status Management - Status Profile".

Note : In the FD Transaction screen under the "Status Tab" there is a button called "Status Mgmt". when you click on that it will take you to an another screen called "Change Status" , where you can select the "Status Profile" and you will get some selection Raido buttons in it.

In this stage i want to restrict the " user - 2" not to move further for settlement if my - Raido Button was not selected as approved by "user - 1".

Hope i have explained you what i am looking for , please find the below attachment.

Hedge plan with two or more exposures

Hi experts,

I want to know if there is any way to link two exposures created by the Exposure Management (FTREX1) in to one Hedge Plan (THMEX).

As an example, I have this two exposures.

Importation: 1.000 USD - 15.03.2014

Exportation: 1.000 USD - 15.03.2014

As you can see the amount is the same, so I don't need to create a Hedge Instrument to protect this transactions, I'm naturally protected.

I could't find any way to link those transactions so that I can be able to see that I'm not exposed anymore.

Hope you can help me.

Hi Reenu,

well, I agree I misunderstood your requirements in the first attempt.

the definition of the Status profile (in your case 'ZSTQTPRF') is driven by allowed object types, in your case a natural choice is 'Transaction - Money market' - these object types determine what type of Business transactions (or simply actions) are relevant for your Status profile - you should simply decide what are relevant business transactions for your scenario and what is their sequence - I don't expect there could be a standard, as number of possible combinations could be rather extensive.

you can refer to the Section 3.3.6 Status management @ 2nd edition of SAP Treasury and Risk Management - SAP Treasury and Risk Management (2nd Edition) - SAP PRESS Bookstore - there is an example explaining how you can use these statuses.

Dear Jandoval,

This is the normal behavior of the system.

If you don't want the cash flow to update all the repayments you have to post the ones that had already happened (TBB1).

When the flow is not posted the system will always recalculate.

Hope this will help you.

Hi Jandoval,

I don't think that change in the nominal amount (via capital structure) should impact the installment repayment amounts (Flow types 1130 in your case) in the deal - please verify your conditions ('Goto' -> 'Conditions') - you can find all valid conditions the and also definition of each of them (by double-clicking).

if you are not sure, you can attach the screenshot of that window.

Hi George.

Thank you for answer me.

In my opinion the behaviour system is wrong, because this way the concept about cash flow is broken.

Do you know if there is one way, of customise the condition 1130 for change current system behaviour?

I want to enter an additional increase on capital structure, in future time, without change previous installments repayment amount and without run (TBB1).

Best regards

Hi Anil,

are you sure a setting 'Processing Category' (SPRO -> ... -> TRM -> Transaction Manager -> Money Market/ Foreign Exchange/ Securities/ etc. -> Transaction Management -> Transaction Types -> Define Transaction Types) is the same in both environments on the selected instrument?

Kind regards,

Renatas

Hi Jandoval,

I agree with you about this, but I don't think that SAP will change this, at least I don't know how to do.

What you can do is manually insert the first repayment with the amount fixed and then create a new one and let the system calculate the rest of the repayments.

I know that is not the best solution but is the only one that I can think of.

Is it responsible for posting status ? I changed the processing category to without settlement from with settlement . I changed because it was not allowing to change the contract one settled.

please find the link : Transaction 100000100 in company code KSID: Activity 00001 has status Replaced

This is the error I was getting in case of change in contract after settlement. So I changed.

Please through some light on this.

Thanks

Anil

>> Is it responsible for posting status ? I changed the processing category to without settlement from with settlement .

[Renatas]: as far as I understand, VTBFHAPO-SBEWEBE is not responsible for posting status, however controls if any posting is allowed for this particular transaction.

as you know, if the intention is that any transaction should be settled (kind of approval/ validation) before any posting can be triggered - in this case you choose Processing category 00002. In this case VTBFHAPO-SBEWEBE = 0 after deal is captured, therefore you are not allowed to trigger any postings. Of course, once the respective deal is settled, VTBFHAPO-SBEWEBE = 1.

>> I changed because it was not allowing to change the contract one settled.

[Renatas]: please verify your settings, relevant to Field Selection (SPRO -> ... -> Treasury and Risk Management  -> Transaction Manager -> General Settings  -> Transaction Management  -> Define Field Selection) as this is the area where you can implement control over certain fields in deals, depending on its processing stage.

Kind regards,

Renatas

Jandoval,

you are welcome.

I'm just wondering, is there more than 1 condition type '1130 - Installment' in the contract you are referring to?

Kind regards,

Renatas
